Dawn to the town
Inspired by the Guatemalan landscape and the folkloric colors of the Central American country of the quetzal.
A soft landscape where the lines run smoothly along the hills and become rougher in the treetops and roofs of the town that overlooks the foothills of the mountains. The lines not only define the shapes but also express the creative process from its beginning following the watermarks and brushstrokes that are theoretically not visible in the watercolor technique.
Antigua in fragments
This painting follows the previous one but focuses on a specific landscape of Antigua, Guatemala. The work is fantasy without reference to a particular street, but it summarizes all the ancient elements: its cobblestone streets, colorful houses, the Agua volcano and a cup of coffee.

In this land it is possible to appreciate a starry landscape of rectangular lands of many colors that together shape the panorama in front of our eyes. It reminds us of a blanket of patches and thus, being the crops the base of the economy and social life, they are the blanket, the refuge for the native people of Guatemala.
